Forendors or Fanuvi? Fees, podcast and paid content
Comparison of Forendors and Fanuvi for Czech makers. Specific calculation of commission, work with podcast, membership and procedure for changing platform.
Forendors quotes a 15% commission including VAT for subscriptions. Fanuvi does not have a monthly fee and the creator gets 90% of the price excluding customer VAT. The models have a different basis and role of the seller; savings cannot be derived from the percentages alone. Compare the same end price, custom tax profile and member features.
This comparison is published by Fanuvi. We also list situations in which another service makes sense. We verify competitor prices and features from referenced sources; individual tariffs may vary.
If you have a Czech podcast or a community around your work, Forendors is a natural candidate. The fan doesn't have to decipher English terms and solve them, how to explain the subscription in a foreign environment. Fanuvi is targeting a similar need. Therefore, the decision should not be based on the color of the button, but on what the member buys, how easy it is to find it and how much work the operation adds to you.
Let's look at a common case: a creator publishes regular content, has a public part and a member part, adds an occasional video and doesn't want to compose five different services every month. The following calculations are modeled, not actual customer results. They will help you compare offers without confusing commission with tax or net profit.

| What are you dealing with? | Forendors | Fanuvi |

| Monthly platform fee | Without flat rate | Without flat rate |

| Fanuvi menu arrangement | Subscriptions and one-time purchases by content type | Up to three membership levels, a series of posts and a private podcast RSS |
The comparison is based on the sources listed below the article. Financial examples are not tax advice or a promise of earnings.
How much will be left from the 249 CZK subscription?
Forendors quotes a commission of 15% including VAT for subscriptions. For a payment of CZK 249, the commission corresponds to CZK 37.35, and after its deduction, CZK 211.65 remains. The minimum commission of CZK 15 will not affect this particular example. But for cheaper offers, include it in your own calculation. According to the published price list, the subscription also has a minimum price of CZK 59.
With a Czech payment of 249 CZK including 21% customer VAT, 43.21 CZK is added to VAT and the basis is 205.79 CZK. Fanuvi has a share of 20.58 CZK and the basic remuneration of the creator is 185.21 CZK. Standard payments and scheduled payouts are in Fanuvi's share. Any supplier VAT, deduction and creator's own taxes are dealt with separately; remuneration is not net profit.
The amount after the Forendors commission cannot be considered a comparable Fanuvi base fee without its specific sales and tax conditions. In the reseller model, customer VAT is separated by the selling platform; the supplier has his own billing. This article therefore does not guarantee a difference in crowns or a higher net profit. Have both documents compared according to your situation.

Regular membership is not the same as selling one part
Forendors differentiates between subscription and one-time purchases. He quotes a 20% commission for one-time content and support; specific minimum amounts vary by product. Therefore, it is not fair to transfer our subscription calculation automatically to a sold series or individual unlocked post. First, write down what you actually want to sell, and only then compare the price of the platform.
For a regular podcast, membership is straightforward: every month the listener gets a certain number of bonus episodes and access to the archive. A separate purchase may be more appropriate for a one-off workshop. Do not make a decision based on which format looks cheaper in the price list. Choose a promise that matches the rhythm of your work and the expectations of the audience.
Fanuvi stands for membership in this comparison. You can prepare up to three levels, but there is no need to use them all. One well-described offer at a reasonable price is better than three almost identical tariffs. A higher level makes sense when it makes a concrete and long-term manageable difference.

For a podcast, the ordinary way to listen is also decisive
Imagine a person who likes you, but doesn't want to install another app. He logs in, opens an episode, and needs to listen to it comfortably on his way to work. In Fanuvi, you can offer a private podcast RSS feed to your audio content. The link is intended for a specific authorized member; it is not a public link that you should put in a post on a social network.
When preparing an offer, try the entire procedure from the listener's point of view. Can he find the latest episode? Does it recognize what it has already played? Does he understand the difference between a public teaser and a bonus episode? The technical feature in the list of benefits is just the beginning. It gains real value when one does not have to write for help.
In addition to audio, you can publish video, text and files in Fanuvi. For the uploaded file, expect a limit of 200 MB. Therefore, prepare a long video with an appropriate data stream or divide it into meaningful parts. We don't label storage as unlimited and recommend trying a real episode before announcing a new offer.
The archive is meant to be a reason to stay, not an endless wall
After the first ten posts, the content can be navigated by sight. After a hundred, a new member needs a way. In Fanuvi, series are used to keep related posts together. A business podcast can have a standalone series of interviews, breakdowns, and Q&As. The fan then does not have to go through the entire timeline for one topic.
For each series, write who it will help and how to start. If the episode is part of a longer story, put a link to the previous episode in the description. Update the introductory orientation post once in a while. These little things will often do more for a new member than the next item on a list of features.
Comments allow you to link to specific content. An optional member's message board will add space for topics from the community. You don't have to turn it on just because it exists. If you mainly promise quality listening, a quiet library may be more suitable than another discussion that you will have to moderate every day.
Plan the transition as a service to members
Changing the platform is not just uploading a logo. A person already has an active subscription somewhere and does not want to accidentally pay twice. First, prepare a new profile, content and a clear explanation of when you will start publishing in the new place. Only then announce the date. For both services, check the termination rules and access to the previously paid period.
Neither payment data nor subscription can be treated as a normal file for export. Fanuvi does not promise automatic transfer of payment card or approvals from another platform. Moving content, communication and new membership are separate steps. It should be clear to each member what to do and if there is an old payment left somewhere.
Prepare a short guide with three steps and one point of contact for help. Do not automatically include all exported contacts in your marketing email, regardless of the purpose of obtaining them. Data portability helps your business, but it's not a substitute for the right to work with data.
When to choose Fanuvi and when to stay with Forendors
Fanuvi is worth a try if you want to combine the Czech environment, the division of membership into levels and a clear archive without a monthly platform fee. The price difference can be relevant, especially with a larger number of regular payments. However, before selling, check the current availability of payments indicated at registration and in the service offer.
If the specific one-time selling method you need works for you on Forendors, or your members are using the current content well, it is not reasonable to force a move because of one table. Write down three problems that you want the change to solve. If you can't find any specific ones, the novelty of the platform alone is not enough.
The best test is small and practical: prepare a public demo, one bonus episode and a review for a new member. Have several people describe what they think the offer includes and where they would start. Their answers will tell you more than a long list of technical parameters.
